ARCESE ENHANCES ITS LOGISTICS IN ROMANIA

Arcese is enhancing its logistics and warehousing businesses in Romania by adding an additional 6,500 square meters within the WDP logistics park in Dragomirești (Bucharest), where the company already has a warehouse measuring over 4,500 square meters dedicated to its logistics and distribution businesses.

The building, in Class A, comprises 250 square metres of offices, 8 loading/unloading bays and 1 drive-in to facilitate the loading/unloading of vehicles.

In addition to a large operational surface area, particular attention has been paid to security, thanks to the installation of an efficient 24/7 video surveillance system and ESFR (Early Suppression Fast Response) sprinkler protection systems. Also, in order to ensure greater energy efficiency and a low environmental impact, an LED lighting system has been installed inside the warehouse.

Considering also the Cluj platform, the company has a total area of approximately 16 thousand square meters in Romania.

“The customers in our portfolio are growing, they’re developing their business, so we need additional space to offer them our company’s characteristic flexibility. Despite these current unstable and certainly uneasy times, we are continuing to develop our business and diversify our customer portfolio,” said Marius Buturoaga, Country Manager at Arcese Transport.

The first Arcese branch in Romania was inaugurated in 2011 in Cluj-Napoca, followed by the Bucharest branch, which has been operating since 2017. The Group’s presence in Romania represents an important and strategic access to the main corridors of Western Europe, thanks also to an integrated network throughout Europe. The company offers land (road and intermodal) transportation services at full load and groupage, as well as logistics services.
